How do I register Bloat Buster?

When you first start it up, it will ask you if you want to register it. Follow the instructions on screen to do so.

Or, you can click here to purchase Bloat Buster, and a registration code will be emailed to you. You can then enter this code when Bloat Buster prompts you to do so.

When will I receive my registration code?

After purchasing Bloat Buster, you will typically receive an email within 5 minutes with the registration code. Note that during times of high activity, this may take up to 24 hours. The email will be sent to the email address you supplied when purchasing Bloat Buster.

How do I start Bloat Buster?
  • Click on the Start button at the lower left of your screen.
  • Move the mouse to the Programs item.
  • A menu will appear. Look for the Bloat Buster folder, and select the Bloat Buster icon under it.
How do I optimize and cleanup my computer?

After you start Bloat Buster, and it finishes scanning your computer, click on the Cleanup Wizard button at the top left, and follow the instructions on the screen.

Do I need to use the 'Programs' or 'Settings' tools?

No. If you run the cleanup wizard, it will perform all optimizations related to startup programs and system settings automatically. Also, at the end of the cleanup wizard, it will show a list of installed programs that are slowing down your computer, if it detects any.

You only need to click on the Programs button if you want to manually adjust which programs startup on your computer, or view the installed programs.

You only need to click on the Settings button if you want to manually adjust system settings.

How do I restore any changes I've made to my computer back to their defaults?

Click on the Restore Old Settings... link in the main screen.
